Sure is! Our inventory is a live version of what's on offer in-store. While there are times when our inventory is incorrect, due to errors and other things outside of our control, 99% of the time if our website says we have the item, we'll have it in store. Please note that we do recommend buying something for pick-up that you've got your eye on -- as we do not offer holds, as our website is live. You're welcome to give our store team a call (802.497.0100) to confirm a product's availability before heading in. And for the record, we have LOTS more available offline - as we only list about 50% of our available stock online.
We offer FREE premium gift wrapping on gifts $25+, excluding sale/clearance items, prints, and some oversized items. We gift wrap in special reusable canvas sacks which are sure to wow! In the notes on your order, please specify what you'd like gift wrapped, noting if items should go together or individually. You can also add a short note to the recipient there.
It depends on the time of year. Outside of the holidays, we tend to ship 2 - 3 times per week, which fluctuates depending on staffing. This means though that your package will leave us anywhere from a few minutes after ordering to a few days after ordering. We rarely ship on weekends. During the holidays, we strive to get orders out within 1 - 2 days, but at times we do get backed up. Please note that these estimates do not include transit time. If you have an edit you need to make to your order, send it along immediately after placing your order.
If you have a tight turnaround, we can price out what a quicker shipping method might be. We recommend placing your order, and then sending a reply to your order confirmation email letting us know when you need the order to arrive by, and what your budget is to get it there by then. We will price out the options with the carriers based on your package - and send you along a invoice for the additional shipping charges. We often list additional shipping methods on our site during busy gifting times. We are unable to guarantee any shipping timelines, as once it's with the carrier we have no control over delays.
When our store is open, we try to have orders ready within 2 - 4 hours after your order is placed. But typically, we have orders ready within an hour. You will receive a "READY!" email from our team. If you're sending someone else to pick-up your order, they'll just need the full name the order was placed under and your order number. While we cannot run orders outside our door, as it's a slippery slope for how far customers ask us to go -- give us a call 802.497.0100 if you have issues or additional questions.
If you're in a a hurry - give us a call after you place your order and we'll fast track your order and give you an estimate of when it'll be ready.
We've had flat rate shipping since we started in 2013. It's the best method for us to cover the flat expenses associated with shipping orders. This can be frustrating, when someone is looking to purchase a small, low cost item, but our shipping is high. For us, we are trying to encourage you to batch shipments together. Yes, that might mean that you might head to a different shop (hopefully a local one) to find the item that you wanted. We'd love to see you in the shop if you can make it in for the lower priced items.
Our flat rate shipping does adjust based on destination. And we do offer free or discounted shipping based on destination and a certain order threshold. Once you put in your address, you can see these options populate at checkout.
