Free and Discounted Shipping Explained

We love you, but we can’t offer blanket free shipping, it’s just not sustainable (for us or the planet). Shipping costs vary wildly depending on how far your goodies have to travel, and since we don’t hide extra shipping surcharges in our product prices, we have to keep things fair and realistic.

So here’s how we do it:
We offer discounted or free shipping thresholds based on where your package is headed. It’s our way of balancing affordability, transparency, and sustainability,  all while keeping your mailbox happy.

Here’s the general breakdown:

Closer to home (New England and surrounding area): Lucky you! Orders that reach around $200 before shipping costs or tax usually qualify for free shipping.

Farther away: Some states have a threshold of $200 for free shipping, but most farther states have a $200 threshold for DISCOUNTED shipping, rather than free, as it's just not possible to cover the higher shipping costs.  

The easiest way to see what applies to you? Just pop your address into checkout — even with one item in your cart. You’ll see all the available rates and thresholds listed right there within the shipping rate options. 

Please note that when expedited shipping options are available, if you qualified for free shipping or discounted shipping, that amount will also be included in your purchasing power for expedited options.
