Workshop Showcase

Common Deer is excited to announce the second year of the Vermont Makers Workshop Showcase! We at Common Deer recognize that there are many talented yet unsung Vermont makers that are crushing the creation game -- and we’d love to open our doors to these up-and-coming makers, emerging artists, manufacturers, and creators that have been waiting for their chance to shine.
This is a CALL TO MAKERS and MANUFACTURERS! Looking for insight/ advice on how to market your goods and tell your story? Been perfecting your craft, and looking for an opportunity to test the retail market? Or maybe you’re just dying to get your Vermont Made product into Common Deer. Now’s your chance to pitch and showcase your work! This unique retail opportunity is open to makers, manufacturers, and artists of all sorts, from experienced to brand new.  Potters, artists, metalsmiths, craftspeople, woodworkers, artisans, seamstresses, printmakers, and more from around the state are encouraged to apply-- Vermonters only, please!
Common Deer will purchase an opening wholesale order from the selected Workshop Showcase finalists. For a month this spring, Common Deer will showcase this chosen work in our retail shop. Workshop Showcase goods will also receive special attention from our sales staff and on our media outlets, and when appropriate, the makers will receive direction from the Common Deer team.
