This route allows you to pick out specific items to put inside, giving you the most control over gift box contents!

Follow these instructions to build your own gift box:

1. GETTING STARTED. In order for us to know you'd like your order made into a gift box -- click here to add this item to your cart, making note of the amount you intend to spend to get the free box vs. paying the $5 or $10 boxing fee. There is more info in the description of this item to explain details about which box fee to pick. This content total is before shipping/tax/box fee.  
2. ADD THE ITEMS! Please select at least 4 items. We have combed our vast inventory for a selection of items that fit inside gift boxes, but a lot more on our site does fit! i.e. jewelry, food, bath/body, t-shirts. If an item does not fit or items don't "play nice" with others - we may bump you to a different shipping box or we'll be in touch with suggestions. 3. CARD OPTIONAL - click here to add a greeting card! Pick out a specific card here, and in the notes before checkout, write what you'd like us to write inside. Messages are handwritten, so please try to keep it on the short side.
4. DOUBLECHECK your work-- did you add the "Build a Gift Box" item to your order... did you select the right $ amt based on your total before taxes/shipping/box fee... Do you have at least 4 items other than the gift box? Do you feel the items will all fit inside the 10 x 10 x 5 Gift Box? Did you add your note for inside the card?

*If you do not hit a minimum of 4 items and/or they don't add up to minimum $40 before box fee/tax/ship, we will bump you to gift wrapping. Unfortunately the boxing and the materials cost us a lot - and we have to make sure the program is sustainable.

For store pick-up, if you need your order same day or next day, please give our store a call after placing your order or make a note at checkout - so we can make sure to have it ready when you need it.

Our team will custom build a gift box just for your recipient based on your description, selecting items that look great together and fit inside the box nicely. We can make a box for just about any occasion or person!

In the cart pop up, there is a text box for notes -- please describe the recipient - interests, age, gender, occasion, favorite animals, activities, allergies, etc. This is incredibly helpful to our team. Also, if you have general items in mind (candles, snacks, etc), please make a note, but we cannot always pull specific inventory items mentioned. Also in the notes, please write out your quick message for inside the card if you included one - Messages are handwritten, so please try to keep it on the short side.

Please note that custom builds can sometimes take an extra day or two in handling.

** For pick-up, these custom box orders can sometimes only be fulfilled on certain days of the week due to staffing. If you need your order for pick up same day or next day, we recommend building your own, or giving us a call to see what's possible!
