Newberry Knitting Co
Berniece and James (Fred) Newberry were employed at a Schenectady, NY glovemaker in 1946 when they decided to set out to found their own shop, Newberry Knitting Company. Seventy-seven years later, their family continues the tradition of making gloves in the same factory, built on their former farmland with a dedicated crew of skilled employees.
Using Ragg wool yarns for natural insulation and genuine deerskin leather palms to improve grip, Newberry Knitting gloves are constructed to last, with the same great skill and care applied to their original creations.
